Divine Power

The 21st century is a period where countries are not only engaged in direct conflict but are also vying for superiority through their technologies. The fastest developing technology in this century has undoubtedly been unmanned vehicle technologies. Have you ever thought about how frighteningly powerful “drone” systems, developed not only for military use but also for civilian applications, actually are?

The All-Seeing Eye

Many of you might be reminded of the eye symbol on the pyramid featured on the American Dollar. This symbol is often depicted as a divine representation of God watching over humanity.

When speaking of the eye of God, you might not think of a literal eye but rather a belief. Instead of imagining that every action, every meeting, and every interaction you have is being physically watched, think of it as a belief that God is watching and noting your sins. While you might miss events that occur in milliseconds when you blink, the eye of God is always watching.

Now, imagine a technology that can watch you continuously from the sky for 24 hours without ever blinking. This technology is fixed on you, following you wherever you go, yet invisible when you look up. It records your movements, uses that data, and constantly analyzes you. This surveillance requires no human intervention. The fact that drones possess such surveillance power might not mean much to you because you believe you’re not doing anything wrong. However, if you’re paranoid, you might constantly feel watched.

Comparing drones to the eye of God is actually a testament to the power of nations. A man-made device possessing a power attributed to an omnipotent deity is a clear indication of technological advancement.

Drones can also have simultaneous monitoring capabilities. If you equip a drone with two cameras, you essentially have two eyes watching the same environment. This enables a wider field of view. You could potentially rewind the footage to repeatedly review an event, allowing you to prevent incidents – essentially meddling with the timeline of events.

Use of Information

Let’s assume there is a power constantly recording you and your surroundings, and from this point on, we’ll evaluate how this information could be used. Suppose there are routine activities performed by the population in your area. These routines include using public transportation, going to places of worship, going to work and school, and walking on busy streets. If someone tries to disrupt your routine, it would likely disturb you, right? For example, if you’re a working individual and suddenly get fired, this would disrupt your routine and possibly affect you mentally.

The ability of drones to record human movements and turn them into data that can be stored might be used as information in a potential internal conflict or problem in that area. We could liken a constantly monitored society to an ant farm. If you’ve ever owned an ant farm, you know that you can easily control it if you wish. Essentially, this is a method that countries with drone power use to exert pressure on and gather intelligence from other nations. Maybe drones are flying overhead, recording data about your area as you walk down the street. You might be able to gather similar information using satellites, but real-time monitoring is incredibly challenging.

Perhaps you can gather information about a region using your agents or informants. But what if they get caught? How sure are you that they won’t betray you or that they won’t be killed? Using such technology ensures the safety of your operatives while also allowing you to record data.

Punitive Power

Even before and after Christ, people believed that natural disasters were punishments from gods or a god. An earthquake or a lightning strike – events that are unpredictable and sudden. Examining drone weapon technology, we can see that they have achieved this. Bombs or missiles that fall silently are used as punishments because they catch the target off guard.

According to philosopher Grégoire Chamayou, drones have achieved a divine-like power in this regard. If one country disapproves of another’s actions, it can strike silently from above, even from thousands of kilometers away.

Sounds Can Always Be Heard

When you speak, the vibrations from your vocal cords are analyzed by the structure of the listener’s ears, allowing the brain to understand. So, every word you speak emits vibrations. For example, your phones can collect these vibrations and transmit them to the other party. The Reaper and Raptor drones developed by the United States can easily collect this data. These systems, which we can also refer to as electronic warfare, can effortlessly record not just your image but also your voice. Believers speaking on a subject might believe that every word they utter is heard by God and that they might be punished if they say something wrong.

As technology advances, humans are becoming increasingly powerful. They have become so powerful that they now possess surveillance systems akin to the eyes of God, punitive weapons similar to divine punishment, and video recordings that resemble a divine book documenting everything you do. If we use these technologies in a manned vehicle, they can’t truly be considered as possessing divine power, as the data can be deleted or ignored. However, if we entrust this technology to unmanned and AI-controlled vehicles, they can collect information for us without intervention.

The most evident thing we see here is that the faster and more advanced our technological development, the closer we can get to the pinnacle. Countries that excel in intelligence gathering have always managed to be more advanced in their survival.
